Qualified school leavers.
So you want to go to university, but you’re looking for practical experience, too?
You’ve completed your secondary education with good to excellent grades and attained the general matriculation standard or a subject-specific university entrance qualification?
Then you can earn an internationally-recognised academic degree and gain valuable work experience at the same time. In conjunction with the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University, we offer the “Business Administration/Banking” Bachelor’s degree, an academic, future-oriented training programme you can complete within three years.
Recent graduates.
Did you recently earn your Master’s degree and are looking for a challenge in the field of risk management? Do you already have some practical experience in the financial services sector and are open to opportunities on the international stage? Then why not apply for our “International Development Programme for Risk Managers”?
In this two-year trainee programme, you learn to identify, assess and manage risks in real-life situations. You will spend periods in Germany and abroad at various stations throughout the BMW Financial Services process chain to acquire a full understanding of our core business. In the area of risk management, you will enhance your knowledge of risk models, methods and types (counterparty default risk, market price risk, including residual values risks, operational risks and liquidity risks) and learn how to apply them. The content of the training programme will prepare you to join us in an international risk-manager function.
What we offer.
- "Full-Time Select": BMW Bank employees can take up to 20 days' additional holiday each year with corresponding reductions in pay under certain conditions.
- Sabbatical: All employees may apply for a one to six-month period of leave.
- Trainee programmes
In addition to its attractive internship opportunities and risk-management trainee programme, BMW Bank focuses on the combined Business Administration/Banking degree offered in conjunction with Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University since autumn 2014. - Training and development initiative
Any employee can apply for an educational grant to pursue post-graduate studies in a job-related subject. In cooperation with the BMW Training Academy, we also offer our employees a wide range of training opportunities (specialised and personal-development seminars, as well as soft-skills training). - Drive Programme
The BMW Group’s one-year Drive programme organises orientation sessions, networking events and a personality seminar to help new staff kick-start their careers. The programme also provides lots of exciting insights – for example, through several days’ work experience in the Production division.
The company also organises a “Fit for Banking” running group for employees: At a weekly training session divided into a beginners’ and an advanced group, employees can prepare for the annual Munich Marathon under the guidance of a professional trainer. BMW Bank employees can also compete in the B2Run company race in Munich alongside their BMW Group colleagues.
Every year, BMW Bank holds an autumn and a winter sports day to which family members and friends of our staff are cordially invited.
BMW Health Days are popular events where relevant health data, such as biological age, is measured. Additional health checks – of the cardio-vascular system, for instance – have also proved popular.
