Internships are extremely useful for professional orientation and to help shape your professional profile, which will have a positive effect on your future applications. We are therefore very happy if you would like to undertake a voluntary or mandatory internship with us. We generally offer full-time internships with a term of three to six months. We rarely offer shorter internships because we want our interns to gain as detailed insight as possible into working life. Through longer practical employment, we have the opportunity to get to know you better, to assign you responsible tasks and your own projects, and to give you the opportunity to write your thesis in our company or undertake a work–study role if applicable.

A work–study role may be offered after an internship of several months, for example. You will sometimes also find work–study roles advertised in our job market. The term is at least three months and remuneration is determined on an hourly basis.

In general, you need to be registered at a university to qualify for an internship at BMW Bank GmbH. The only exception to this is if you will be continuing your studies again shortly, for example with a master’s course or doctorate.
